🐕 Monday, 26/09/2022

The day began with the usual routine: distributing hay and cleaning the stables 🌾. Everything felt normal until we realized that one of the dogs, Lola, was missing.

Everyone started looking for her around the farm and the nearby fields 🐶. For a moment it was quite stressful because nobody knew where she had gone.

Luckily she was found again not too long afterwards, and the relief was huge. After that we continued the work as usual and finished the day without further drama.

🏥 Tuesday, 27/09/2022

Today I had a day off and went to the hospital because I had been having bladder problems for several days 🏥.

The waiting time was incredibly long — around three to four hours ⏳. Sitting there for so long was exhausting.

In the end the results were negative and nothing specific was found. That was a bit frustrating, but at least it meant nothing serious was discovered.

Back to work on the farm again. The routine of feeding hay and cleaning the stables continued as usual 🌾.

During the day I noticed a beautiful rainbow in the sky — the first real one of the autumn season 🌈🍂.

🤢 Thursday, 29/09/2022

The night was difficult because Jenna kept getting sick and vomiting 🤢🐕. I barely slept and was worried about her.

Because of that I received the day off so I could stay with her and keep an eye on how she was doing.

Seeing her unwell was really hard. I spent most of the day with her, trying to comfort her and hoping she would feel better soon.

🐾 Friday, 30/09/2022

Thankfully Jenna already seemed much better today 🐕💤. She mostly slept and finally looked more relaxed.

I returned to work on the farm, helping with the usual tasks around the animals and the stables 🌾.

After finishing work I went straight back to spend time with her. It felt good to see her slowly recovering.

🌆 Saturday, 01/10/2022

Today I had another day off and traveled to Galway with Emelie 🚍.

We explored the city, walked through the streets, and enjoyed a relaxing coffee together ☕.

It was a really nice change from farm life. Even though Jenna couldn’t travel with us, the trip helped me recharge and clear my mind.

Back on the farm, the day was quite busy. Many new volunteers had arrived and there was a lot to organize 🐕.

Together we managed the quarantine area for the dogs, making sure everything stayed clean and safe.

It was interesting to meet so many new people and work together as a team. Days like this really show how strong the community on the farm can be.
